My booking confirmation/e-ticket hasn’t arrived, what should I do?

Please make sure you double-check your spam and junk folders. If you still haven’t received it, please get in touch with us by emailing

Do I need to collect/print my tickets?

No! All of our events are e-ticketed, you do not need to collect printed tickets. Your booking confirmation email will include a QR code, which will be scanned by our front of house team when you arrive at the venue. You can show this on your phone or tablet (or print it at home if you would prefer). We recommend you avoid printing as much as possible, this helps to make the festival more sustainable and saves you time!

Can I buy tickets when I arrive at the venue?

You can buy tickets at all of our venues however, we recommend that you buy tickets online in advance. You’ll be emailed an e-ticket to use when you arrive and you’ll avoid the risk of shows selling out.

Travelling to the venue

We would encourage you to walk or catch public transport to our venues - not only will it save you time and money instead of looking for a parking space, but it's also kinder on the planet, and that's always a good thing. Information about travelling to our venues including parking, train travel, cycling and buses is listed in our Accessibility Guide.

Please note that the streets of Edinburgh can get very congested during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe so leave plenty of time to get to the venue in time for your show. Roadworks and potential strike action may affect your journey so you may need to factor in more time than you think.

Can I choose my seat?

Seating is unreserved. Please listen to staff who will direct you where to go when entering the venue. Most venues have a queuing system. Queues generally start between 30 mins and 15 mins before show start times. If you arrive before this, please speak to a member of staff (and why not grab a drink before the show!)

If you have specific seating requirements you can let us know in advance by emailing or speaking to a member of staff on arrival at the venue.
