What is the Gilded Balloon and what do we do?

The Gilded Balloon is a year-round producer of comedy and events, but most renowned as one of top venues of the annual Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Teviot Row House becomes the Gilded Balloon’s home and festival hub during August; with 9 venue spaces, it houses over 100 shows per day from the pick of local and international performers.

What is the Edinburgh Fringe and when is it?

The Edinburgh Fringe is the largest International Arts Festival on Earth! Established in 1947, this open-access festival takes place over three and a half weeks every August, saturating the capital city of Scotland with a flurry of talent from all realms of the performing arts world, from comedy to theatre, dance to music and much more. With well over 2800 shows at the 2013 Fringe, this is a festival that truly caters for every entertainment need or desire! Who is eligible for Concession priced tickets?

General concession prices are applicable to students, senior citizens, unemployed, customers with a disabilities, military, people under the age of 18 and Equity Card Holders. Proof of status must be provided at the box office.
