A Scots Singer of the Year (MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards), a FATEA Awards Female Artist of the Year Nominee, and a BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year Finalist – Aberdeenshire folksinger, Iona Fyfe, has become one of Scotland’s finest young ballad singers, rooted deeply in the singing traditions of the North East of Scotland.

Described as “one of the best Scotland has to offer”  (Global-Music.de), and with a number of high profile appearances under her belt, Iona has performed extensively in the  UK, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, France, Poland and Canada in 2018. Having won the Molloy Award at Birmingham Irish Trad Fest, Iona performed at Interceltique Festival De Lorient in 2018 where she was described as “a Scottish folksinger, magical and charismatic” (Rolling Stone, France).
