Fringe Previews: Jamie MacDonald / Stuart McPherson

June 14, 2020 7:30 pm
June 14, 2020 10:00 pm

Two top comedians give you a sneak peek of their 2020 Fringe shows:

Attitudes towards disability have changed since Jamie’s school made him the first blind hurdler in Glasgow and – let’s face it – the world. Blindingly funny jokes aren’t enough these days – comedians must have a personal struggle now. Jamie wants some of that action! Irritatingly he can’t see anything tragic about his life. He’s 40, married, with no kids – bliss. Is he just blind happy or is he a blind psychopath? Or maybe Jamie MacDonald is the first blind man ever with 20/20 vision?

‘Stuart McPherson brings a work-in-progress of his sophomore Edinburgh Fringe show to the Basement Theatre. His debut was named one of The Skinny‘s top shows of 2019. As seen on BAFTA winning mockumentary Scot Squad.
