What is Leith Social?
Leith Social is a comedy, music and entertainment evening produced and hosted by Gilded Balloon at The Pitt Market in Leith on Thursday evenings. There is a mixed bill of acts including comedy and music with food and drink available from The Pitt Market bars and award winning food vendors.
Where is the venue?
The Pitt is located at: 125-137 Pitt Street, Leith, EH6 4DE. The show will take place indoors, in the Pitt warehouse.
How do I book tickets?
The best place to book tickets is on the Gilded Balloon website here. If you would like to book a companion ticket or make a group booking please call our box office on 0131 622 6552. Phone lines are open Monday-Friday 10am-6pm.
My booking confirmation/e-ticket hasn’t arrived, what should I do?
Please make sure you double-check your spam and junk folders. If you still haven’t received it, please get in touch with us by emailing admin@gildedballoon.co.uk
Do I need to print my ticket?
Nope. This event is e-ticketed. Your booking confirmation email will include a QR code, which you will need to show on arrival at the venue. You can show this on your phone or tablet, or print it if you would prefer.
Is there an age limit?
Anyone age 16+ is welcome to the event. Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult.
Can I buy food and drinks at the venue?
Yes. There is a full bar with a wide selection of beer from Barney’s Beer and wine from Smith & Gertrude plus plenty of soft drink options. There will be food from local street food stalls – see the menu here.
What time is the venue open?/What time does the show start/end?
During the Fringe the doors will open either 30 minutes or1 hour before the show - so come along early and grab your seat and enjoy some food and drink before the show!
For the show starting at 7pm, the doors will open at 6pm. For the 9pm show, doors will open at 20:30.
What is the seating like?
Seating is benches and tables that hold up to 8 people. Please note that you may be required to share tables with other groups and we can’t guarantee that groups will be seated together. Seating is unreserved on a first come first served basis so we recommend arriving early to grab your choice of seat. The show is indoors, in the Pitt warehouse.
What accessible services are available at the venue?
We work hard to be as accessible and inclusive as possible.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes. Well behaved dogs are welcome.
