Short Attention Span
Short Attention Span Theatre is an evening of short plays written and performed by emerging writers specifically for that event. Each night features six new plays of around 15 to 20 minutes. Each play is written by early career playwrights or writers from other disciplines writing for the stage for the first time. The plays are all conceived, written and rehearsed in the weeks leading up to the show.
To date SAST has performed the work of 20 writers. For SAST's December show we bring you the best of our previous shows. The evening touches on a wide variety of themes and experiences, featuring comedy, drama and tragedy. The plays feature Lord Haw Haw, communism, nuclear war, tourism, call centres and killer folk songs - and much more!
