For 2016 we’ve partnered with the National Museum of Scotland to host some new and exciting shows all within the beautiful Museum building. The programme sees 18 productions covering adult and children’s theatre, comedy and music. There will be some household names, as well as emergent national and international artists. Inside the venue there will be a dedicated box office and information counter as well as a small bar. Outside the Lothian Street entrance, enjoy a drink in the sun at the Gilded Saloon Bar.

The Auditorium is a purpose built presentation space that is converted into a comfortable theatre space during the Fringe by Gilded Balloon. Highlights from this year’s programme includes Brave Macbeth, Singing Hands, Mark Thompson and Night at the Museum.
