Box Office Management
Open Daily 10am – 1am (strictly no access after 1am)
The main Box Office is straight in front of you when you enter the Teviot Row House. To the right hand side of the counter is the entrance to the Box Office Management office. Only the maximum of two (2) representatives dealing with Box Office matters for your show should enter the Box Office area due to the limited office space.
Make sure you visit the Box Office when you first arrive at Teviot where the Box Office Manager will take you through Box Office procedures.
We have experienced Box Office Managers who will be available to answer your questions on all Box Office matters and advise you on how to best sell your shows.
Arts Industry & Promoter Tickets
For the past few years, Gilded Balloon had chosen to co-ordinate the allocation of independent Promoter Tickets ourselves. These were complimentary tickets that we could choose to allocate to Arts Industry Professionals and Promoters who requested to see GB shows, cross checked against the EdFringe supplied list of accredited promoters and programmers.
This year, we have met with the new team at the EdFringe Arts Industry Office to see how they have evolved their service, to make it more responsive to the needs of venues and promoters/programmers alike. As a ‘one stop shop’ they are more equipped to provide a more comprehensive service to both our companies and any independent promoters, talent scouts & venue programmers who wish to see shows at the Gilded Balloon. In light of these new developments to their service, we have decided to hand over the administration of these tickets to the Fringe Office Arts Industry team.
In order to apply for these tickets you will need to register as an Arts Industry professional and request them through the Arts Industry team at EdFringe. More details on the service can be found on the edfringe.com site here –
There are a maximum of 2 complimentary tickets per show, and only one will be issued per applicant. If the show sells out on a specific date and you request a ticket for that date, you will asked either to re-book for an alternate date or directed towards our box office to purchase a ticket.
Complimentary ticket requests should be made by email to email@example.com If you make a request in person we will ask you to complete a form so that we have a paper trail. We ask for 24hrs notice and can make no guarantees that requests made after this will be processed.
